Dancing With The Stars is returning soon and TVNZ has confirmed the eight stars who will take to the floor next year. They are:
Black Sticks captain Lizzy Igasan; gold medalist Barbara Kendall; award-winning actor Geraldine Brophy; sister and brother acting duo Rebecca and Chris Hobbs; former All Black Josh Kronfeld; Breakfast’s Tamati Coffey; and entertainment icon John Rowles, will team up with professional dancers for the 2009 series.
Critiquing their ability will be judges Alison Leonard; Craig Revel Horwood; Brendan Cole; and Paul Mercurio.
Dancing With The Stars has captured the imagination of the nation since it started in 2005. Since the series started, the series finale has attracted an average of 55 per cent of the total available viewing audience (All People +5). Dancing With The Stars has now raised more than $1.3million for New Zealand charities.
