TV ONE’S Huge Sunday Night Local Line-Up
TV One has announced a new Sunday night programme line-up for September that showcases the best of New Zealand content.
Two of the hottest new shows will run back to back during primetime, making Sunday night a night of must watch TV.
The much anticipated new entertainment event New Zealand’s Got Talent has been brought forward to 7.30pm, followed by the second series of the high rating local drama Nothing Trivial in the 8.30pm timeslot.
New Zealand’s Got Talent is the largest entertainment production undertaken by TV One in a decade, while Nothing Trivial broke all records for the premiere of a New Zealand drama series last year. Australian favourite Offspring will follow at 9.30pm to round out the night.
Starting the new Sunday line up is New Zealand’s leading news hour, One News, followed by high profile current affairs show Sunday which will become a concentrated half-hour format for the duration of the New Zealand’s Got Talent series.
Head of Sales, Jeremy O’Brien, says “TV ONE’s exciting new Sunday evening line up is a great addition to the TV ONE schedule and demonstrates our commitment to local programming. We believe huge shows like New Zealand’s Got Talent and Nothing Trivial will connect with our viewers, ensuring we continue to deliver great results to our advertising partners.”
